The Ciudad Real Madrid (Real Madrid City) is the sports centre of Real Madrid, located in the outskirts of Madrid by the Valdebebas Park, in the neighbourhood of the Madrid-Barajas airport. It stretches over a surface of more than one million m², of which around 30.000 have been used so far. The first phase of the construction included the medical and training installations. The city includes 12 training pitches and a stadium seating 6000 people. Within the structure are also the studios of Real Madrid TV, the official information channel of the football club. In September 2013 the works to complete the apartments for the football players have also been finished.
